This colorful vase utilizes the “filigree” technique with polymer clay spirals combined with straight and wavy extruded tubes. Embellished with mica powders, silver beads and a hint of sparkle. When displayed with the flameless tea light inside (included) the spaces left between the elements allow shafts of light peeking through to create a lovely evening centerpiece. Add dried or silk flowers and this becomes a unique and one of a kind house warming, hostess, engagement, wedding or bridal gift. Each side provides a completely new and exciting view. Vessel is 8” high.

Alene Sirott-Cope is a professional graphic designer, potter, mixed media artist, photographer, art director, and art educator in several universities in the New England area. She uses her expertise with graphic design concepts, including color, shape, and texture, in all of her pieces.
