I have always been fascinated with the many varieties of palm trees. This is a 9 tile composite on wood. The medium is Alcohol Ink. The color and texture is different on every tile. The color cannot be appreciated with a photo. It is so vibrant that it's very difficult to achieve the true color with a reproduction unless you see it in person.
Alene Sirott-Cope is a professional graphic designer, potter, mixed media artist, photographer, art director, and art educator in several universities in the New England area. She uses her expertise with graphic design concepts, including color, shape, and texture, in all of her pieces.
