Description
Alcohol ink allows for many different and colorful textures, shapes and shadows. Paintings almost paint themselves. Alcohol inks are dyes which have an isopropyl base and can be manipulated in fascinating and unpredictable ways when affected with alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and other dyes on a non-porous surface. Yupo paper is a synthetic product created for use in the printing industry. It is now used for watercolors and alcohol inks. The original is matted in white. Frame not included.
Alene Sirott-Cope is a professional graphic designer, potter, mixed media artist, photographer, art director, and art educator in several universities in the New England area. She uses her expertise with graphic design concepts, including color, shape, and texture, in all of her pieces.
