Painting - Alcohol Ink On Tile And Board
Description
This painting was created first on tile, then mounted with a 1/2" space between the 2 substrates. The tile is coated with a thick resin for protection. The painting on the wood portion is matte and compliments the tile very nicely. Sides and back are black with a copper wire hanger. Alcohol inks are dyes which have an isopropyl base and can be manipulated in fascinating and unpredictable ways when affected with alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and other dyes on a non-porous surface.
